Our Position on Generative AI

At Miaowito, we’re excited by the potential of emerging technologies, after all, innovation is part of our DNA! But so are creativity, integrity, and responsibility.

While we stay curious about how AI might support practical operations and monotonous or repetitive tasks, we do not and will never use generative AI for creative work.

That means:

• No AI-generated visuals, animation, scripts, or voices in our productions.

• No replacing artists, animators, writers, or collaborators with AI tools.

• No use of datasets or models trained unethically or without consent.

We believe in original, human-made storytelling - not shortcuts that compromise ethics, ownership, or artistry. We’re particularly concerned about:

• The exploitation of creative work used to train AI without permission.

• The environmental impact of large-scale AI training models.

• The broader risks to creative livelihoods and cultural authenticity.

We’ll eventually look into exploring responsible, small-scale R&D into AI for non-creative functions only, and always with transparency and care.
