Moominvalley is the latest CGI adaptation for family prime-time television of the much loved work of Tove Jansson. Moominvalley has been awarded the VENLA Finnish Academy Award for best Children's and Youth Program in 2020 and 2021, and has been nominated for the International Emmy Kids Awards in 2020 and in 2023 in the Kids: Animation Category.

The show was produced by Gutsy UK and the animation was done by Anima Vitae.
Sara Barbas was Episode Director on Season 2 and Director on Season 3 - overseeing story, animatic, edit, layout, animation, light and comp, music, sound design, online edit, grade and final mix. In the featured video above you can watch a breakdown of some the different production stages.
